About the artist

Milla Sipola currently lives in Helsinki, Finland. In recent years, her distinctive visual expression has expanded beyond tattooing into painting and street art. Her works often feature colorful, expressive animal figures alongside abstract patterns and splashes of color, defined by bold shapes and vibrant colors. Milla's artistic world is playful, lively, and full of stories.

"For me, making art is like playing – I approach it with lightness and intuition. I want to inspire and remind people that life can be fun, and not everything needs to be taken so seriously."

Milla is a member of the Mimmit peinttaa art collective, where she works alongside other artists making graffiti workshops and public & private commissions.

Currently working in a private art studio in Roihupelto, Helsinki where she paints and makes tattoos. The studio is open by appointment for tattoo clients and also people who want to come see her works, as the space is also a gallery for finished and unfinished artworks.

Milla has had some art exhibitions showcasing her works, most recently at Yö-gallery and Marski by Scandic.
